My approach & areas of work
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
There are many paths in psychotherapy.
I chose Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) early on. Not because it focuses "only" on behavior, but because it is scientifically grounded, flexible, and concrete in its application. CBT works with what we feel, think, and do — and how all of this is connected. It enables real, sustainable change — not through abstract theory, but through tangible insights and steps you can actively integrate into your daily life.

Trauma therapy
Trauma therapy & EMDR helps you find inner healing and process distressing experiences.

EMDR Method
EMDR, as an evidence-based method for treating trauma-related disorders and PTSD, is highly effective.

Integrative approach
My integrative approach combines proven methods such as Ego States, IFS, Trauma Yoga and DBR for holistic healing.

Body-oriented
This body-oriented approach to trauma therapy helps you to overcome trauma in a gentle and sustainable way.
EMDR -
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
EMDR is an internationally recognized, scientifically well-researched psychotherapeutic method for treating traumatic and highly stressful experiences. EMDR is based on the assumption that the brain fundamentally possesses a natural capacity to process experiences, but that this capacity can be blocked by extreme stress.
Targeted bilateral stimulation (e.g., eye movements) reactivates this processing. In this way, distressing memories can gradually lose their emotional intensity and be integrated into a new, less overwhelming context.
EMDR is particularly successful in the following cases:
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
complex post-traumatic stress disorders
distressing memories and shocking experiences
Anxiety disorders and panic
stress- and strain-related symptoms
psychosomatic complaints
Numerous international studies confirm the high effectiveness of EMDR, which is why it is recommended by national and international professional societies as an evidence-based procedure.
EMDR can be particularly helpful when talk therapy alone reaches its limits – for example, when clients understand why they are feeling unwell, but the distressing experience remains unchanged emotionally or physically. EMDR addresses precisely those areas where words alone are often no longer sufficient.
